A little care goes a long way with printed T-shirts. These everyday habits help keep the fabric soft, the colours bright and your custom print looking fresh for longer.
Washing
- Turn the shirt inside out before washing to protect the print.
- Wash in cold or lukewarm water with similar colours.
- Use a gentle cycle and a mild detergent.
- Avoid bleach and strong stain removers on printed areas.
Drying
- Air-dry in the shade where possible. Strong sun can fade dark colours over time.
- If you use a dryer, choose a low heat setting.
- Don’t leave wet shirts bunched up; hang them so they keep their shape.
Ironing
Iron on a low to medium setting with the shirt inside out, and never iron directly over the print. For performance fabrics such as Dri-Fit and mesh, use the lowest heat setting.
Storage
Fold your tees or hang them on wide hangers so the shoulders don’t stretch. Keep printed shirts away from rough fabrics and zips that can rub the print.
Following these steps will keep your favourite tees, and your custom designs, looking good wash after wash.
